ABOUT US

Our Mission: The Chesterfield Public School Foundation exists for the purpose of supporting, promoting and encouraging the educational advancement and innovation of the students of the Chesterfield School District.

The Chesterfield Public School Foundation (CPSF) supports, promotes, and encourages the advancement and innovation of education for the Students of the Chesterfield School. We award grants to the school to fund projects, programs, and activities, not included in the normal school budget, which enhance the education of Chesterfield School students.

Founded in 1999 with a $1,000 donation from the town of Chesterfield, the foundation has enjoyed the generous support of our friend and neighbors in Chesterfield, Spofford and West Chesterfield. Donations have helped us build an investment portfolio and beginning in 2009 we began to fund projects for the school.

Some of the funded projects included four Smartboards and their installation. NHDI all-school and yearlong residency, children’s author Jerry Pallota residency, a mentoring program, Boston Fine Arts Museum trip, a bookmaking residency, Apple iPads for the music program, chimes for the chime choir, and the students’ creation of the mosaic mural at the school entrance.

Due to the generosity of our donors, since 2009 CPSF has been able to fund projects at the Chesterfield School in excess of $270,000.
